The Canberra TOUGHLOVE
Group has done a wonderful job over the last year of
supporting local parents to find and implement new and effective ways
of dealing with unacceptable teen behaviour.
Unfortunately the group has had to close its doors (temporarily,
we hope). The group's volunteer coordinators have reluctantly
retired, due to changes in their circumstances. The
group has been unable to find a new coordinator so far and cannot
function without one.
If other Canberra parents are interested in re-establishing this
group, and benefiting from the support of the TOUGHLOVE

or two parents, willing to commit a few hours per week, to get the
ball rolling again. Parents helping themselves and each other is the
cornerstone of the TOUGHLOVE Program in action.
